Problem context:
  • Redundant Minting Process:

Users encounter redundant and excessive clicks and screens during the minting process, leading to inefficiencies and delays.

  • Inefficient User Dashboard:

The user dashboard is inefficient, hindering experienced users from easily gaining insights and analyse their performance.

Process:
  1. User Interviews

  2. Stakeholder Interviews

  3. Competitive Analysis

  4. Brainstorming and Prioritization of Ideas

  5. Design Iterations for either web and responsive version

Design Process:

1. User Interviews

Talk to experienced collectors to find out what they really need and what's bothering them when using the dashboard. Ask about their experiences with the current minting process to figure out what can be made better.

Learned:

  • Simplify the current minting process to make it more user-friendly and straightforward for both artists and collectors.

  • Improve the wallet interface, ensuring clear and transparent information, especially regarding the status of unsold NFTs.

  • Develop user-friendly guides and tooltips to assist users in understanding platform features, such as STX changes and ownership history.

  • Implement a more efficient batch minting process, addressing the needs of artists with larger collections and streamlining their workflow.

  • Enhance analytics capabilities, providing users with more detailed insights, including engagement metrics, ownership history, and a clearer account impressions rate.

2. Stakeholder Interviews

Talk to the important people involved to make sure everyone agrees on how we want the improved dashboard and minting process to look. Figure out the business goals connected to showing analytics and making minting smoother.
